Electronic AVR
VAN - ZA electronic Alternator Voltage Regulator is product of M/s Hi-Po Power System. AGR - 1 is full wave phase controlled thyristor type AVR & forms part of excitation system for brush-less /slip ring type generator. Use of high efficient & sensitive semiconductors, positive voltage build-up is ensured from lower residual voltage level. AGR -1 derives power from main stator & senses the average value of either two phases or single phase. AGR-1 provides under-speed excitation protection, by reducing the output voltage proportionally with speed below a preset threshold.

Important
- The discrete power component TYN 1225/612 and diode 6A10 can be replaced if failed.
- CHANGE THE JUMPER & DO SHORT V & N FOR SINGLE PHASE OPERATION.

- Isolate AVR while flashing or insulation testing of the Alternator.
- Installation and adjustment must be carried-out by skilled technician only.
