Electronic AVR
VAN - ZA electronic Alternator Voltage Regulator is product of M/s Hi-Po Power System. CTR -2 is half wave phase controlled thyristor type AVR & forms part of excitation system for brush-less generator. Use of high efficient & sensitive semiconductors, positive voltage build-up is ensured from lower residual voltage level. CTR-2 derives power from main stator & senses the average value of two phases for batter regulation under unbalance load condition. CTR-2 provides under-speed excitation protection, by reducing the output voltage proportionally with speed below a pre settable threshold.
